Surrounded by the beautiful parkland of the Knowlton Estate, this historic house provides an idyllic location for your wedding day.

Recorded in the Doomsday book, Knowlton Court was the house of Bishop Odo of Bayeux, brother of William the Conqueror. The oldest part of the present house in Elizabethan and the front facade is Queen Anne (1715).

Knowlton Court is currently a family home.

An enchanting half mile avenue of lime trees provides a magnificent and romantic approach to the grand entrance gates and courtyard with its wonderful circular lawn and steps leading to the Great Hall.

The splendour of the Great Hall, with its chequered black and white marble floor, walls lined with incredible tapestries and a striking carved stone fireplace, offers the perfect setting for your marriage ceremony and allows seating for over one hundred guests.

For your Wedding Breakfast, the Great Hall can cater for 82 guests with an additional 70 evening guests.

For larger Wedding parties there are marquee sites within the grounds for your reception and celebrations.
